Yes, there are a lot of dishonest and bad moving companies out there and if you have been scammed by a moving company, you may file a complaint against them at www.bhgs.dca.ca.gov. The complaint form can be downloaded, filled out and mailed or submitted online. Lost items or damage claims must be filed in writing within nine months after your goods have been delivered.
